Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
everything you need to know
Answers to the questions we hear most about the Cycle & Sage journals, orders and downloads.
No. Cycle & Sage journals are tracking tools, not treatments. They’re designed to help you document symptoms, sleep, mood, and cycle changes so you can spot patterns and bring a clear record to your doctor. They don’t diagnose, treat, or relieve anything, and they’re not a substitute for medical care.
90 days of daily tracking spreads, dedicated symptom, sleep, mood and cycle logs, and a doctor-visit prep page, so you walk into appointments with your patterns already laid out. The journal is undated, so you can start on any day of the year.
Both. Perimenopause: A Woman’s Record is available as a printed paperback on Amazon, and as a digital download here on cycleandsage.com. Amazon handles shipping for the printed edition; the digital edition is available immediately after purchase.
Both have the same 116 pages. The Printable PDF is for printing at home and writing by hand (it also works in GoodNotes or Notability with a stylus). The Interactive PDF is for filling in on your phone, tablet or computer: tap a circle to rate a symptom, tick boxes, type notes, and jump to any day with the buttons on every page. Not sure? Choose Printable + Interactive and use whichever suits the day.
iPhone & iPad: the built-in Files app or Adobe Acrobat Reader (free). Android: Adobe Acrobat Reader (free). Computer: any PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or your web browser. Your entries save inside the file, so keep a backup copy (for example in iCloud or Google Drive).
Yes. The interactive edition is built for it: every rating circle, tick box and text line is tappable, and each page has Previous, Next and Contents buttons so you never have to scroll through 116 pages. Most women fill in a day in about two minutes.
As soon as your payment goes through, your download link appears on the order confirmation page and is emailed to you. If you created an account, you can also find it any time under My Account → Downloads.
We accept PayPal, which also lets you pay by debit or credit card without a PayPal account. M-Pesa payments are coming soon.
Because digital files can’t be returned, digital downloads are generally non-refundable once delivered — but if your link doesn’t work, the file is faulty, or you were charged twice, we’ll put it right. See our Returns & Refunds policy.
Never. Your journal is filled in by you, on paper or on your own device. We don’t collect or store anything you write. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
Perimenopause: A Woman’s Record is the first in a growing series. Menopause Transition, HRT Response, Post-Menopause, and a Partner’s Guide are all in development — join our community below to hear when each one launches.
Yes. Every Cycle & Sage journal is undated, so there’s no wrong time to begin — start today, next month, or whenever feels right.
